Responsibilities
- Architect & Deploy: Design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions and microservices using modern technologies.
- System Optimization: Analyze existing codebases and architecture to improve performance, scalability, and security during off-peak hours.
- Uptime Assurance: Monitor system health, troubleshoot critical issues in real-time, and implement proactive maintenance strategies.
- Code Quality: Write clean, testable, and maintainable code; conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers during overlap hours.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) to define requirements and deliver features efficiently.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on backend or full-stack development.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js, and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
- Night Shift Commitment: Must be willing and able to work the night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM Pacific Time).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to debug complex issues under pressure.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
