Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance backend microservices using Python and Go.
- Monitor system health and proactively troubleshoot overnight incidents to ensure zero downtime.
- Collaborate with the 24/7 support team to implement fixes and patches during maintenance windows.
- Optimize database queries and cloud infrastructure to handle high-throughput transactions.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers within the night shift cohort.
- Document technical architecture and operational procedures for the support team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Deep understanding of database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis).
- Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM).
