Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and cloud infrastructure for speed and reliability.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis and system design.
- Conduct code reviews and implement best practices to ensure code quality, security, and scalability.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues in production environments during off-peak hours.
- Collaborate with product managers and remote teams to define feature requirements and technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend development.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go, along with experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
- Proven ability to work independently and effectively during night shift hours with minimal supervision.
