Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for 24/7 production environments
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Resolve complex production issues using advanced debugging techniques
- Design AWS cloud infrastructure with Terraform and Kubernetes
- Contribute to API security best practices and threat modeling
- Participate in agile ceremonies during our hybrid night shift schedule
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Java
- Expertise in distributed systems and cloud architectures (AWS/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases
- Proven ability to lead technical projects in agile environments
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- CI/CD pipeline mastery (Jenkins/GitLab CI)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with production incident response
- Must be available to work 11 PM - 7 AM EST, Monday-Thursday
