Responsibilities
- Develop, debug, and maintain high-availability software applications during the night shift cycle.
- Monitor system logs and performance metrics to proactively identify and resolve incidents.
- Collaborate with the Day Shift DevOps team to ensure seamless handover of active tickets.
- Implement automated scripts to improve nightly build processes and deployment pipelines.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to architectural improvements for scalability.
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical system outages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience (Java, Python, or C# preferred).
- Experience working in a shift-based or 24/7 support environment is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database management.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
