Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance microservices using Java/Spring Boot and cloud-native technologies
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization and DevOps practices for 24/7 production systems
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across APAC and EMEA timezones
- Resolve critical production issues with rapid response protocols
- Contribute to architectural decisions for distributed system scalability
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Spring
- Expertise in AWS/GCP cloud services and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Proven track record of shipping production-grade systems at scale
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-availability architectures
- Experience with remote team collaboration across multiple timezones
- Comfortable working independently during night shift hours
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
