Responsibilities
- Develop & Maintain: Design, code, and debug high-quality software solutions for our night-time services using Java, Python, or Go.
- System Stability: Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues that arise during off-hours to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Code Quality: Conduct rigorous code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers and QA teams to define technical requirements and deliver features ahead of schedule.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation and API specs to facilitate knowledge sharing within the remote team.
- Optimization: Analyze database queries and application performance to optimize speed and resource utilization.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Node.js; experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM or 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Tools: Deep knowledge of Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to debug complex issues independently.
