Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot and Node.js
- Lead code reviews and drive best practices in CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and cloud infrastructure (AWS)
- Champion agile methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Expert proficiency in Java, Python, and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and DevOps practices
- Proven track record of shipping production systems at scale
- Experience with fintech or high-transaction systems preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
