Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-scale, high-availability software applications using Python and JavaScript.
- Architect scalable microservices and integrate RESTful APIs to support business requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical code reviews to ensure best practices and code quality.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define feature specifications and user stories.
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex system issues in real-time.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS or Azure.
- Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
