Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using cloud-native technologies (AWS/GCP)
- Lead code reviews and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Collaborate with Product Managers to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical documentation
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technology stack evolution
- Implement security best practices and compliance standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java, Python, or Go
- Expertise in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and database design (SQL/NoSQL)
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and serverless architectures
- Proficient in testing frameworks (JUnit, pytest) and TDD methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to debug complex systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Strong communication skills with experience in agile environments
