Responsibilities
- Lead development of cloud-native microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and design reviews
- Optimize system performance using observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus)
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical blog publications
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Go or similar languages
- Expertise in AWS/GCP services and distributed system architecture
- Strong background in RESTful API design and GraphQL
- Proficiency with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system designs
