Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance microservices using Java/Spring Boot
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices across distributed teams
- Optimize database queries and AWS infrastructure for 99.9% uptime
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and Docker
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or 5+ years equivalent experience
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native architectures
- Proficient in SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
- Strong background in RESTful API development and OAuth2
- Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design projects
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
