Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural discussions
- Optimize system performance and ensure 99.99% uptime for transactional APIs
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in distributed systems, REST APIs, and event-driven architecture
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization technologies
- Strong background in financial systems or high-transaction applications
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience with Jira/Confluence
