Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers in agile development practices
- Optimize system performance through database tuning and caching strategies
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker for automated deployments
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
- Ensure production systems maintain 99.9% uptime through robust monitoring and alerting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with Java and JavaScript
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and GraphQL
- Experience with test-driven development and CI/CD methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Preferred: Healthcare IT experience or HIPAA compliance knowledge
