Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Jenkins and Terraform
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting for high-traffic systems
- Stay current with emerging technologies and drive innovation
- Participate in architectural decisions and technology stack evolution
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
- Demonstrable problem-solving skills through portfolio or technical interviews
