Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot on AWS cloud infrastructure
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Optimize database performance with PostgreSQL and Redis caching strategies
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct comprehensive testing (unit, integration, load) and security audits
- Document architecture decisions and contribute to our engineering blog
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong background in RESTful API design and event-driven architectures
- Proven ability to lead technical projects with Agile methodologies
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and system design capabilities
- Experience with financial services software or high-transaction systems preferred
