Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Lead feature development for our HIPAA-compliant SaaS platform
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize system performance and scalability for 99.99% uptime SLA
- Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and Terraform
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects and tech community initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years building production-grade applications in Python/Java
- Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and serverless architectures
- Strong background in RESTful API design and database optimization
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (Pytest, JUnit) and TDD practices
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills through GitHub portfolio
