Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Node.js and Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust cloud-native solutions on AWS
- Implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture with best practices
- Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and establish engineering excellence standards
- Optimize system performance and ensure 99.9% uptime for mission-critical applications
- Contribute to DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
- Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to business challenges
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with strong backend expertise
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience with relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Proven track record of leading successful projects in agile environments
