Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of microservices architecture using cloud-native technologies (AWS, Kubernetes)
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize system performance and scalability through continuous profiling and testing
- Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements and DevOps best practices
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and database design
- Proven experience leading technical projects from conception to deployment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts
- Experience with Agile methodologies and test-driven development
