Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and contribute to CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Collaborate with Product Managers to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Design RESTful APIs and ensure system scalability through performance tuning
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in code quality
- Implement robust testing strategies including unit, integration, and load testing
- Participate in agile ceremonies and drive technical debt reduction initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, databases, and caching strategies
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to optimize for performance
