Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Go and Python
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers through pair programming
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for AWS-hosted applications
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Implement security best practices including OAuth2 and encryption
- Contribute to open-source projects and internal tooling
- Present technical solutions to stakeholders via architecture reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and RESTful APIs
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (Jest, PyTest)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex projects
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
