Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and Node.js
- Lead cloud-native deployments on AWS with CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL and Redis
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Implement security best practices and PCI-DSS compliance
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Monitor system health and proactively resolve production issues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of backend development experience
- Expertise in Java, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong AWS knowledge (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS)
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proficient in RESTful API design and GraphQL
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of delivering high-traffic systems
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
