Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using cloud-native technologies (AWS/GCP)
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Lead architectural decisions for new features and system improvements
- Optimize application performance and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with strong proficiency in Python or Java
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record of architecting and deploying scalable web applications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in debugging complex systems
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work remotely across time zones
