Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and establish best practices for CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize database queries and system architecture for 99.99% uptime
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through pair programming and architecture sessions
- Conduct A/B testing and data-driven feature implementation
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Implement security protocols and compliance standards (PCI DSS, GDPR)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in production-level backend development
- Expertise in Go, Python, or Java with distributed systems knowledge
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Proven track record of shipping scalable SaaS products
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
