Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex data models and databases to support organizational reporting and analytics requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and define business questions that data can answer.
- Create interactive, high-level dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI to communicate insights to leadership.
- Perform rigorous data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all data sources.
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis and trend forecasting to uncover hidden opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Automate reporting workflows to increase team efficiency and reduce manual processing time.
- Present data findings to non-technical audiences in a clear, compelling, and persuasive manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (subqueries, window functions, stored procedures) and Python or R.
- Strong hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid work environment.
- Familiarity with government data standards or compliance (e.g., GDPR, FISMA) is a plus.
