Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Modeling: Design, build, and maintain complex SQL databases and data pipelines to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Dashboard Development: Create interactive, high-level dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to track real-time performance metrics and KPIs.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct deep-dive statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering teams to define data requirements and deliver clear, actionable insights.
- Reporting: Prepare regular and ad-hoc reporting packages for executive leadership to support strategic decision-making.
- Data Quality: Implement data governance protocols to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of all data sources.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related data-focused role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and Tableau or Power BI.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and non-technical language for diverse audiences.
- Tools: Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) is a plus.
- Location: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and based in the San Francisco Bay Area (Remote).
