Responsibilities
- Data Acquisition & Cleaning: Gather, integrate, and clean large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.
- Reporting: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders, translating technical findings into business-friendly insights.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and engineering teams to define data requirements and improve data infrastructure.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current data processes and recommend automated solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), Python or R for data manipulation.
- Visualization: Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Familiarity with ETL tools and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
