Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Cleaning: Retrieve large datasets from various sources (SQL databases, APIs, spreadsheets) and clean, normalize, and validate the data to ensure accuracy.
- Dashboard Development: Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for the night shift operations.
- Trend Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis on historical data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly reports for executive leadership, highlighting critical insights and recommendations.
- Collaboration: Partner with the operations team to understand data needs and translate business questions into technical data requirements.
- Automation: Develop Python scripts to automate repetitive data tasks, increasing efficiency and reducing manual errors.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries, joins, subqueries) and Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib).
- Visualization Tools: Strong hands-on experience with Tableau or Power BI.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors in data and ensure high-fidelity reporting standards.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
