Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate data sets: Ensure data accuracy and integrity across multiple databases and sources.
- Develop complex dashboards and visualizations: Utilize tools like Tableau and Power BI to present data clearly to stakeholders.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis: Interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that influence business strategy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Work with product managers and engineering teams to define data requirements and answer critical business questions.
- Optimize data pipelines: Improve the efficiency and speed of data extraction and processing workflows.
- Create detailed reports: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports that summarize key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS. Strong experience with Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is required.
- Visualization Tools: Expert knowledge of Tableau or Power BI.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into simple insights.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
