Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Processing: Gather, clean, and preprocess large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, correlations, and patterns that drive business strategy.
- Visualization: Develop compelling dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker to present findings to executive leadership.
- SQL & Database Management: Write complex SQL queries to extract data, optimize database performance, and support ad-hoc reporting requests.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress against business goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a related analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python or R for data manipulation, and experience with data visualization tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into business value for diverse audiences.
- Tools: Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
