Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end security architectures for cloud and on-premise environments.
- Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to proactively identify risks.
- Lead incident response efforts during security breaches, ensuring rapid containment and recovery.
- Manage and monitor SIEM/EDR solutions to detect and analyze security events.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Develop and automate security tools using Python or Bash scripting.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GCIH are required.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and firewalls.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
