Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel) in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify potential weaknesses.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with cross-functional teams to mitigate breaches and restore operations.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Develop, document, and maintain robust security policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement secure network architectures and cloud security controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or information security analysis.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GCIH, or Security+ are highly required.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and make critical decisions under tight deadlines.
