Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms to detect and respond to potential threats
- Conduct incident investigations, forensic analysis, and coordinate remediation efforts
- Develop and implement security controls, policies, and procedures to protect organizational assets
- Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security is integrated into all system designs
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures
- Document security incidents, mitigation actions, and maintain compliance reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles with focus on threat detection and incident response
- Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent required
- Proficiency with security tools: Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, or similar platforms
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and vulnerability management tools
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to prioritize security incidents
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
