Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response coordination for security breaches and zero-day vulnerabilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop comprehensive security documentation and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior analysts and collaborate with DevOps teams for secure pipeline integration
- Monitor and analyze global threat intelligence to proactively defend against APTs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SOC operations or threat analysis
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (e.g., GCIH, GCFA) required
- Expertise in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR solutions)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
