Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications using Python, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, and QA) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Debug, test, and troubleshoot complex software issues to ensure optimal application performance.
- Participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback and ensure code quality across the team.
- Contribute to the technical architecture and design discussions for new product initiatives.
- Maintain and update existing legacy codebases to improve efficiency and security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on full-stack or backend development.
- Proficiency in Python (Django/Flask) or JavaScript (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, database management (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a part-time capacity.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
