Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Python
- Implement responsive frontend features with React and TypeScript
- Optimize database performance through PostgreSQL indexing and query tuning
- Write comprehensive unit/integration tests using Jest and Cypress
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
- Collaborate with UX designers to translate mockups into pixel-perfect implementations
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and Docker
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend framework (Node.js/Django)
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and GraphQL
- Proficiency with Git version control and branching strategies
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to work independently while thriving in team environments
