This hybrid role combines remote work with in-person collaboration at our modern Virginia Beach headquarters. You'll work alongside a team of data scientists and business analysts to uncover trends, optimize processes, and drive revenue growth for our diverse portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets
- Create interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for real-time business insights
- Perform statistical analysis and identify market trends in retail and healthcare sectors
- Develop automated reporting pipelines to deliver weekly performance metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate findings into actionable strategies
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous validation and quality control protocols
- Present findings to stakeholders through clear visualizations and executive summaries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
- 2+ years of experience with SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R for statistical analysis
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex data to non-technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating data analysis projects is required
