Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, scrub, and validate data from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive data visualizations using Tableau and Power BI to track KPIs and performance metrics.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct deep-dive statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within complex datasets.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive, executive-level reports and presentations that translate technical findings into clear business recommendations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
- Process Optimization: Recommend process improvements based on data-driven insights to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database querying and management; experience with Python or R is a strong plus.
- Visualization: Advanced skills in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and at least one BI tool (Tableau or Power BI).
- Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful insights from them.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Time Management: Demonstrated ability to manage workload effectively in a part-time, remote, or hybrid setting.
