We're seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Data Analyst to support our growing client portfolio in the financial services sector. This flexible 20-hour/week role offers remote collaboration options with occasional in-person workshops in our Manhattan headquarters.
You'll work alongside senior analysts to uncover trends, build dashboards, and present findings to stakeholders. Our ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and can translate technical insights into strategic recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets using SQL, Python, and statistical methods to identify business trends
- Create interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for executive decision-making
- Develop automated reporting pipelines to monitor KPIs and performance metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliverables
- Present findings to stakeholders through clear visualizations and executive summaries
- Maintain data integrity through quality checks and documentation best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
- 2+ years experience in data analysis with SQL proficiency
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and complex formulas
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and hypothesis testing
- Strong communication skills translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a part-time capacity
