Responsibilities
- Monitor 24/7 security operations center (SOC) alerts and triage potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing activities.
- Manage and configure firewalls, anti-malware, and intrusion detection systems.
- Assist in the creation, testing, and execution of incident response plans.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA, NIST, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Provide security awareness training and best practice guidance to staff.
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate audit logs.
Qualifications
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or Network+ are preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, and endpoint protection mechanisms.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, or LogRhythm).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
