Responsibilities
- Monitor security infrastructure using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with SOAR automation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments across cloud and hybrid environments
- Develop threat intelligence reports for executive stakeholders
- Implement zero-trust architecture principles in Azure/AWS
- Collaborate with SOC teams during incident response drills
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience (education can substitute partially)
- CompTIA Security+/CEH/CISSP certification preferred
- Proficiency in NIST frameworks and CIS benchmarks
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks or Fortinet
- Strong analytical skills with Python/PowerShell scripting
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
- Must be available 20-25 hours/week during PST business hours
