Responsibilities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system alerts and technical issues during off-hours to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Deploy code updates, patches, and hotfixes to production servers with zero downtime.
- Optimize database queries and application performance during low-traffic periods.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and technical documentation for the night shift team.
- Collaborate with the day shift engineering team to ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
- Implement security patches and compliance measures to protect sensitive data.
- Participate in on-call rotations to handle critical incidents immediately.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
- Strong proficiency in backend languages such as Java, Python, C#, or Node.js.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL).
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
