Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and Python
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS for 24/7 application reliability
- Lead code reviews and implement CI/CD pipelines for night shift deployments
- Collaborate with global teams during overlapping business hours
- Troubleshoot complex production issues with minimal downtime
- Document technical specifications and contribute to knowledge base
- Participate in agile ceremonies during core business hours
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience with Java, Python, and microservices architecture
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda) and CI/CD tools
- Strong background in RESTful API development and database optimization
- Proven ability to work independently during off-peak hours
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and monitoring tools
