Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Go and Python
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment of cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver microservices architecture solutions
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot production issues in real-time
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical documentation
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning processes
- Conduct code reviews and implement security best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience with backend development (Go/Python preferred)
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices patterns
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab CI) and infrastructure-as-code
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM MST)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for handover between shifts
