Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance backend systems using Java, Python, and Go
- Implement cloud-native solutions on AWS and Azure with CI/CD automation
- Lead incident response during night shift operations with 15-minute SLA
- Collaborate with global teams via asynchronous communication tools
- Optimize database performance and write efficient SQL queries
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years experience in backend development with microservices architecture
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong debugging skills with production system experience
- Comfortable working independently during night shift hours (7PM-7AM)
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud deployments
