Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable backend services in Python/Node.js
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP
- Collaborate with global teams during overlapping hours (6PM-2AM CT)
- Troubleshoot production issues with rapid response SLAs
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
- Contribute to agile sprints with daily standoffs
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in backend development
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills for high-pressure scenarios
- Excellent written communication for async collaboration
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
