Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java/Python on AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead development of real-time data pipelines processing 10M+ daily transactions
- Collaborate with global teams via agile methodologies using Jira/GitLab
- Perform 24/7 incident response with automated monitoring tools (Datadog/Prometheus)
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and design sessions
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for nightly deployment windows
- Contribute to open-source projects aligned with company tech stack
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) with Terraform infrastructure-as-code
- Strong background in distributed systems and message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Proven experience with 24/7 production environments and on-call rotations
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical certifications
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system architectures
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system debugging experience
- Comfortable working independently during night shift hours
