Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and organize large datasets from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create clear, intuitive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate key findings to stakeholders.
- Trend Analysis: Analyze historical data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth or cost reduction.
- Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, and operations teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- SQL & Database Management: Write complex SQL queries to retrieve specific data sets and assist in maintaining our data warehouse.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analytical processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions like VLOOKUP, PivotTables). Familiarity with SQL is highly preferred.
- Tools: Basic understanding of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to think critically and troubleshoot data issues.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when working with numbers and data sets.
