Responsibilities
- Assist in Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather and prepare raw data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Develop Dashboards: Create visual reports and interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support Senior Analysts: Participate in project meetings and contribute to data modeling efforts under supervision.
- Perform Basic Analysis: Conduct statistical analysis and generate reports to identify trends and patterns.
- Data Management: Maintain databases and documentation of data processes and methodologies.
- Communication: Present findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of SQL or Excel is preferred; willingness to learn is a must.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail and the ability to think critically about data problems.
- Software Proficiency: Comfortable navigating computer systems and learning new software quickly.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time in our Long Beach office.
