Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in business data.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports and summaries to communicate findings to management and non-technical audiences.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and engineers to define data requirements and improve data processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (querying, joins, subqueries) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) or programming languages (Python, R) is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts simply.
